Sten Bauer joined the Ghatan Bauer law firm in July 2024, after having worked for more than 30 years at the international law firm Baker McKenzie’s Stockholm office, including as Managing Partner. Sten has led and been responsible for the Swedish employment law practice, while also working on private company transactions. His expertise in employment law has encompassed a wide range of matters, including recruitment, drafting of employment contracts, termination of employment through individual dismissals, as well as collective redundancies and employment-related disputes. Sten has been a member of the Swedish Bar Association since 1991.
For more than 10 years, Sten has been ranked among the leading practitioners in employment law and is one of the few individuals included in the “Hall of Fame” for Swedish employment law in The Legal 500.
Sten is also top ranked in Chambers ranking as one of only too Senior Statespeople in Swedish Employment law.
